Participation in the 17th World Congress on Public Health
The 17th World Congress on Public Health took place in Rome from May 2nd to 6th 2023. MediLabSecure's results have been presented through a poster on community engagement for One Health prevention and preparedness to vector-borne disease
The World Congress on Public Health (WCPH) is held every two or three years by the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA). This time the Congress was organized by WFPHA together with the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPHER) and the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI).
The Congress serves as an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on key public health issues, contributing towards protecting and promoting public health at a national and global level.
The theme of the Congress was “A World in Turmoil: Opportunities to Focus on the Public’s Health”. It reflected the global health community’s commitment to work together and promote health equity to build a more sustainable future.
